Why are there so many people that don't know about the evil spirits that our out there? Maybe because their not aware of it. Maybe it's time to expose and get rid of them. Can we as Christians be controlled by evil spirits? How can we get rid of them? When you clean a demon out of a person they must be filled up so that the devil won't come back and find that person empty and make things seven times worse. Matt 12:43-45 Here is the first 5 evil spirits that we are going to go over in the next three weeks, at Church on Sunday . 1st Spirit of Divination - Fortuneteller-Witch craft, Horoscopes, Deut 18:9-15 2nd Leviathan Spirit - Controlling, loud, twisting every word. Rude, Rebellious to authority. Isa 27:1 3rd Spirit of Jealousy - Murder, Revenge, Anger-Rage, Jealousy, Hatred, Strife, Envy. Gen 4:2-11 4th Lying Spirit - Strong Deceptions, Whispers lies in your ears and head, Accusations, Slander, Gossip, Lies, 2 Chron 18:20-22 5th Perverse Spirit - Filthy Mind, Sex Perversions, Incest, Pornography, Homosexual. I’m born again, I attend church faithfully, serve others, I tithe and even give above that and yet trouble is at my door step even right now and I have no explanation for it. I didn’t ask for it. What do new opportunities look like for you? As a church we are looking at New opportunities with starting a Daniel Fast Feb 13-19. Why a Daniel fast? Because as you get older it's hard to go with out food all together. With a Daniel fast you still can eat, but you are limited to what you can eat. As a church we want clear direction of what God wants to do this year. Ezra 8:21 Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions.  This Sunday's message is New Levels. If you want to join us for a corporate fast here's the dates Daniel Fast starting Feb 13-19. What does new levels look like for you? It might be fasting. I don't know one person that would be excited If I said that as a church we're going on a fast for 40 days. But what if we only did 7 days that shouldn't be too hard right? Fasting is a way to demonstrate to God, and to ourselves, that we are serious about our relationship with Him. Fasting helps us gain new insight to the things of God. Luke 2:37 and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fasting and prayers night and day. Mon- New opportunities to Read the Bible Tues -New opportunity to Pray more. Wed- New opportunity to Worship more Thurs- New opportunities to Give more Friday- New opportunities to Service more. Sat- New opportunities to Evangelize more Sun- New opportunities to go to Church more. Daniel Fast includes vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and water. These guidelines are based on Daniel’s requesting “nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink” Daniel 10:3  Have you ever heard the phrase, “a new lease on life”? This phrase comes from the late 1800’s to mean a new opportunity or fresh beginning. How many of us have received a new lease on life? How many today could use one right now? Join us tomorrow at New Life Hurricane @10:30am as we continue with the life of Jacob and see how God gives him a new lease on life and what we can learn from his experience. We're going to break down each one of them for the next couple of months. What do new heights look like for you this year? How do you get there? It's not climbing the corporate ladder but to get closer to Jesus. Matt 7:7-8 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. God Loves it when we knock and seek after Him. But Stepping into new heights is not always easy. You can be strong in your walk and you still can get spook of the unknown. The reason why we might not see our self going into new heights is because we might have a hard time stepping out. Matt 14:22-33  As we get ready to say good bye to 2022 and get ready to enter into 2023 with excitement of what God wants to do in our lives. Get ready for New Heights, New Levels, New Opportunities. What would you like to see happen this year spiritual in your life? Every year we talk about making new year resolutions. But do we stick to them? Do you want to see more spiritual growth this year? Or have you falling into, "I can't do anything else I'm already burnt out?" What would New heights New levels, New opportunities, look like? 1 Cor 2:9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." Everyone of us should be able to tell the story about what Jesus has done in our lives. Even if you are heavy burden, empty, and a sinner which we are. A change of name doesn't guarantee a change of heart. As a Christian it's not about how long you have been one but how far you have come in your walk with Christ.
