The name of the message is, "You're Invited" Do you have your invitation for the banquet? Have you ever been invited to a banquet? We all have been to weddings, birthday party's etc. This party is not one that you get to pick and choose who gets to come. We all are invited to the banquet celebration. The table is set, is there is a seat that is reserved for you? The meal has been prepared. The invitations has gone out, now it's up to you to respond. Here is a picture of our friends son's wedding they just had, incredible how beautiful the place looked. Can you image what the banquet in heaven is going to look like? How sad it will be if you miss out and the door shut. Many are invited and they will reject the invitation to enter in. They are going to miss out. How will you respond? Some might respond this way I'm too busy.
Luke 14:15-24 When one of those at the table with him heard this, he said to Jesus, "Blessed is the man who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God." Jesus replied: "A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, 'Come, for everything is now ready.' (2 things is happen here 1st the initial invitation was sent out 2nd they are summons to the meal when it was ready )." But they all a like began to make excuses. The first said, 'I have just bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please excuse me.' (surely no one buys a field unseen.) "Another said, 'I have just bought five yoke of oxen, and I'm on my way to try them out. Please excuse me.' ( surely no one buys five pairs of oxen without testing them first)." Still another said, 'I just got married, so I can't come. (surely no one would accepted a invitation, when you known your wedding plans our on the same day)' "The servant came back and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, 'Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.' Sir,' the servant said, 'what you ordered has been done, but there is still room. 'Then the master told his servant, 'Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full. I tell you, not one of those men who were invited will get a taste of my banquet.'"

Join us this Sunday @ 10:30 am for "Have you ever been distracted? "If we would be honest with ourselves we all can get distracted at times. Distractions can be anything that takes our eyes off of Jesus. What consumes your mind controls your life. Are you easily distracted? Distractions can come in many different forms. Listening to fake news can be a distraction. Retirement can be a distraction. Cell phones can be a distraction. Sickness can be a distraction. Working on Sunday can be a distraction. You might say those are all good things. How could that distract me? Because it's where you put your focus. Too much time on that can take you from spending time with God. Think about this, we are free to share the gospel any where right? But do we? Maybe we don't share because we are distracted with every day noises. How can we hear God's still small voice if we are distracted? 1 Kings 19:11-12 The Lord said, "Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by." Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.
Don't get confused, there is only one true God and His name is Jesus. We live in a world with many so-called gods—the identity of the one true God matters. There will always be different religions and different God's that people will worship. But there is only one true God. Matt 16:13-16 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is? They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets. "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
Jesus is the son of the true living God. Who do you say Jesus is? He is the son of God, He is omnipresent in our every day life.
Don't miss this Sunday message 8/22/21- There is only one true God.
This Sunday's message is: Do you really have the victory in Jesus or have you fallen into a trap? 1 John 5:4-5 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God
Even through we have the victory we don't want to take advantage of the time that we have left. You have heard the saying there's not enough time in a day; so get busy. God is giving us plenty of time to change the way we think and act. How much time do we really need to get it right before Jesus returns for us? Those who fail to learn from history, Are doomed to repeat it. Heb 9:27 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.

Don't miss this Sunday's message 7/25/21@ 10:30 am "God is looking for team player's". Sept 19 is called "Back to church Sunday". Did you know that Sept 19 is called "back to church Sunday"? We have back to school night why not have a back to church day? Why do we have to wait till Sept to go back to church? God is looking for team player's now, will you be one? We all have a part. I think sometimes we forget that God has called all of us. We our like a big puzzle, no piece falls into place that easy. It takes several tries to find the right piece. But in the end we all will fit together if we work together. So how do we find our place in God's plan? How do we fit in? How do we start? Are you the missing puzzle piece?
Here's a little Self exam test.

Rom 12:4-8 Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
Don't miss this Sunday message @10:30am 7/11/21 as I share - What is your story? Everyone has a story of what God has done in their life. So what is your story? The Bible is filled with all kinds of stories. Some of the stories in the bible would shock you there is suicide, murder, adultery all kind of wickedness and we read them over and over again why? Because we can relate to them. You wouldn't think that the bible stories would relate to you but in some way and somehow you have the same stories. There's nothing new under the Sun. It may been different times then but the same stories today. Eccl 1:9-11 What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.
Your story might not be the best seller or you think that no one would read it, but your wrong God knows your story from the very beginning and He' wants you to share it with everyone.
I'm forgiven. What a powerful word I'm forgiven. But do you believe it? Do you always feel like your forgiven? Even when you mess up? Do you feel forgiven for your pass? Do you see the word feel? You can't go on your feelings you have to go on God's word. Jesus paid the price for all of our sins at the cross. NIV 1 John 2:1-2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
Jesus forgives even the sins of the world, so why do we still struggle with believing that He has forgiven us? Maybe because we see our self always messing up. But if we focus on God's forgiveness and releasing our pass to God, then we will see the victory.

You don't want to miss this Sunday’s message @ 10:30am. If you can't make it you can watch us live on Facebook @ New Life Christian Center Hurricane. Every one of us can relate to starting in some kind of bondage. Jesus is the chain breaker but you have to give it to Him 1st. Do you recognize when you're in bondage? Have you ever been in bondage? If yes, what was your bondage chain?
My bondage chains before I gave my life to Jesus were cigarettes, depression, and alcohol. What about being chained to pornography, overeating, gambling, sports; these are just a few that people can struggle with. What are you struggling with and are you willing to sacrifice it to God? Rom 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God this is your spiritual act of worship.
It's ok to share on this page what you are struggling with. We all have been there. Sometimes by sharing you bring it to the light and the healing process begins.
