All who are thirsty, all who are weak come to the fountain. At one time we were either thirsty like having cotton mouth or weak like we're not going to make it. Have you ever been thirsty? YES. The only thing that can take that thirst away is living water. See the problem is when we are weak we are supposed to come to the fountain. Are you thirsty for more? YES Do you want to go deeper? YES. Are you ready to go deeper? YES If you're thirsty come to the fountain and God will give you living water. John 4:10-15 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water." The woman said to Him, "Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?" Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life." The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw."

I can't wait for this Sunday message. I usually post on Friday what I'll be sharing but this one is hitting home with me. Title is-Who's ruffling your feathers? Have you ever experienced someone getting underneath your skin? Sometimes God does ruffle our feathers because He's trying to make us a better person. He uses people in our life to ruffle them. Sometime we need to learn to let it go. Why don't we just let it get? because, sometimes we're not happy with our self or we struggle with personality conflict. Have you ever been in a meeting and it was a train wreck. And you just wanted to get up and run? See the problem is when God ruffle our feathers it's to make us a better person. But at times we take offense to it, for some reason we always think we have everything figured out. God can uses every opportunity even when it doesn't make sense. James 1:19-20 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
Every other Sunday I get the opportunity to peach the gospel and you get the opportunity to hear God's word. This Sunday's message is: Whose voice are you listening to? Who told you that you would never amount to anything? It doesn't matter how many times you go around and around or up and down. God is still in control. Life can be like a roller coaster with Jesus. 1 minute you're on fire and the next minute you're down. 1 minute you're preaching the gospel and the next minute you're on the shelf. Who told you that God doesn't speak to you? You never have to worry about God not speaking because His sheep hear His voice. John 10:27-28 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
How do you know for sure you can hear God's voice? Because when you pray God listens, When you listen God talks, When you believe God works. 1st We need to be Praying 2nd We need to be Listening and 3rd We need to Believe! Don't miss this Sunday's message @ 10:30am New Life Hurricane or you can watch us live from your home on our Facebook page. I will be sharing the story of our trip to Israel-Trust in Jesus
Trust it goes both ways. What if God had to take you around the world to teach you how to trust Him? Would you want to go? I remember my husband asking me do you trust me and I said No. I didn't know why I said that but on our trip I figured it out that I would have to trust not just him but Jesus at the same time. What separated us from others is when we absolute trust in God, regardless of what happened to us. We can be a shining example of what can happen when a person surrenders to God and obeys completely. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Good Reminder 1. God Knows What Will Happen Next 2. Jesus Never Changes 3. Do not Fear 4. Let God Make Your Way 5. God Is With You 6. God Keeps His Word 7. Jesus Is the Good Shepherd 8. God Is Working for Your Good 9. God Is a Safe Place 10. When You Ask, He Hears You 11. Trust in God, Not in Things 12. Keep Your Focus on God 13. When You Are Afraid, Turn to God 15. You Can Trust God 16. Trust God, Not People 17. Trust in God Brings Blessing Do you want the Good News or the Bad News. Most people say I only want to hear the Good News. Did you know the word Gospel means Good News. No wonder we only want to hear the Good News first. Rev 3:20-22 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."
