This Sunday message is-Spending time with Jesus, what does that look like? Every one of us should want to spend more time with Jesus. When we overwork ourselves, we can get beaten down. You may feel sick or get tired because you’re not getting the rest your body need. Why does your spirit need to be renewed? Everyone needs rest, what does the Sabbath look like for you? Is it your day or is it God's Day? Mark 2:27 And he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

Are you in God's army? Are you one of God's soldiers ? We're in a war. When I got saved in a dream Oct 22 1995. One of the things God said to me was He needed soldiers. That this was a war between God and satan. This Sunday message is supposed to get us equipped and train as a Church. Church is not just an audience to be entertained. It's a army to be trained and empowered. 2 Tim 2:1-4 You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. 3 You therefore must endurefn hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.  This Sunday’s message is title never growing. We are going to go over how to grow spiritually and how to grow in the word of God. Are you tired of not growing? Do you know when you give your life to Jesus, you are supposed to grow spiritual? Do you know why so many people don't grow spiritually? Maybe because they haven't really given the life to Jesus. Matt 25:1-13 Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept 6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. ‘But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you. “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. We may still have the why, questions, and we might not understand what God is doing all the time. But we need to speak the name of Jesus over every heart and every mind and to Remind ourselves of what Philip 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Whatever you put on yourself like negative you’re going to have to take it off yourself. It’s like having layers of fear and anxiety on you. I speak Jesus, over fear and all anxiety. Prov 12:25 Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad. Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Depression can cause emotions you didn’t even know you had. Depression can be triggered by the loss of a loved one. I speak Jesus over every soul held captive by depression. I’m going to be bold and ask the question, how do you know if you are saved, and your name is written in the book of life? Can you say 100% you are for sure? How many times have you heard I hope I make it to heaven? Why do they hope if they've have given their life to Jesus? This is a very scary fact, but it is very true any one of us could die at any moment. One of my Job is to preach the gospel the whole truth. Even if it steps on some toes. Acts 20:27-29 For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God. 28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. There's are surveys in the world for everything. Let's do a survey right now, if we went on the streets and asked who's going to heaven? What percentage do you think we would get? 54% believe they will experience Heaven after they die; 15% said they don't know what will happen after they die; 13% said there is no life after death; 8% expect to be reincarnated; another 8% believe they will go to a place of purification before entering Heaven. What % our you?  Church is more than just getting together on sunday. We had an awesome opportunity of doing a baptism on Saturday and a baby dedication on Sunday. We have seen such a spiritual growth in our church and we just want to thank the Lord so much and everyone that always supports us. But the fun part is when we have fun on Sunday I don't know about you but I kind of like the pink boots. The reason 'I'm sharing my message title now is because some still have a hard time going to Church on Sunday. And I want you to feel free to come so I'm giving you a glimpse of what we are going to talk about. This Sunday message is Making memories. People run from Mother’s Day. Why? Because they don’t want to face their pain and hurt, that they still feel. Instead of running from it embrace it. God is the one that made Mother’s Day from the beginning. |
