Have you ever offended someone or been offended? Let it go. Offenses come in many different ways. Have you ever felt like it's hard to forgive other's? What about Un-forgiveness? Let It go. Or wanting to blame others? Let It go. What about Gossip? Let It go. Expectations, expecting to much? Let It go. What about the obvious ones, worrying? Let It go. Fear, Let It go. Doubt? Let It go. My husband's saying for his T-shirt is, The First to Release is the First to get the Peace. NIV 1 Cor 13:4-6 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
This Sunday's message is "An appointment with God". You don't have to go to our church to make an appointment with God you can always watch live on Facebook or our YouTube page later. Every day we all have appointments right? Are you good at keeping your appointments or do you always forget, run late or never show up? We need to take it seriously to make time for Jesus. Have you ever made an appointment with God? Every where you go we have to make an appointments; work schedule, doctors appointment, dinner reservations, etc. What about making an appointment with God today?. Do you ever make time and schedule to sit down with Jesus? I know we're all busy but I know God's not too busy for us. Jer 33:3 'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'
Why does God tell us to come together for church? Because God has made an appointment with us to join Him at 10:30am, So we can worship together. Don't you want to be there when God shows up?
Don't miss this Sunday's service @ 10:30am @ New Life Hurricane Church. We will have a time of prayer for spiritual attacks and deliverance, emotions, fear, anxiety depression and for physical healing. Andrew Wommack wrote a book called God wants you well. God wants us well but do you want to get well? Yes. Do you believe that God can heal you? Yes. Have you ever thought your illness' will never end? Yes. When you got saved you received Jesus Christ in your heart right? Yes. That's the same with being healed you have to believe and received it. You have to tell yourself I want to be healed. Mark 9:23-24 If you can'?" said Jesus. Everything is possible for him who believes. "Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"
I do have faith, but at times I struggle in it so I need to ask God to give me more faith!
You are invited to join us this Sunday@ New Life Hurricane church or watch us live on Facebook. The title of the message is The WOW Moment.
Everyone say it with me WOW!! Have you had a wow moment in your life recently? Everyone has had them.
Every were you go you hear the word wow, it's a expression of you being excited. Wow moments are around us daily. Sometimes we just need to look for them. Is God still doing wow moments in your life? God does wow moments all the time but I don't think God gets the credit He deserves. People constantly say it's a coincidence when obviously it's God.
My most recent wow moment is that we just had 3 new grandkids in the last 14 months. Wow! Who would ever have thought we would have 10 grandkids, eight girls and two boys, Wow. I think the girls are in the lead. Ps 127:3-5 Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them
Join us this Sunday @ New Life Hurricane Church 10:30am to find out about: What is a prophet? A person who speaks God's truth to others. Can there be a true prophet or false prophet? YES. Do true or false prophets exist today? YES. Do you know what a true or false prophets look's like? They look like you and me, they don't walk around with a sign on their back saying I'm a prophet. If someone tells you that they are a prophet of God, is that always true? NO. Are we supposed to know when someone is telling us the truth or lying to us? YES. But what if they are a really good liar? Can we always trust a prophet? NO We have to be leery on some of the things that they are saying especially as we are living in the last days. We need to have more discernment.
Jer 23:16 This is what the Lord Almighty says: "Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.
The name of the message is, "You're Invited" Do you have your invitation for the banquet? Have you ever been invited to a banquet? We all have been to weddings, birthday party's etc. This party is not one that you get to pick and choose who gets to come. We all are invited to the banquet celebration. The table is set, is there is a seat that is reserved for you? The meal has been prepared. The invitations has gone out, now it's up to you to respond. Here is a picture of our friends son's wedding they just had, incredible how beautiful the place looked. Can you image what the banquet in heaven is going to look like? How sad it will be if you miss out and the door shut. Many are invited and they will reject the invitation to enter in. They are going to miss out. How will you respond? Some might respond this way I'm too busy.
Luke 14:15-24 When one of those at the table with him heard this, he said to Jesus, "Blessed is the man who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God." Jesus replied: "A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, 'Come, for everything is now ready.' (2 things is happen here 1st the initial invitation was sent out 2nd they are summons to the meal when it was ready )." But they all a like began to make excuses. The first said, 'I have just bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please excuse me.' (surely no one buys a field unseen.) "Another said, 'I have just bought five yoke of oxen, and I'm on my way to try them out. Please excuse me.' ( surely no one buys five pairs of oxen without testing them first)." Still another said, 'I just got married, so I can't come. (surely no one would accepted a invitation, when you known your wedding plans our on the same day)' "The servant came back and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, 'Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.' Sir,' the servant said, 'what you ordered has been done, but there is still room. 'Then the master told his servant, 'Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full. I tell you, not one of those men who were invited will get a taste of my banquet.'"

Join us this Sunday @ 10:30 am for "Have you ever been distracted? "If we would be honest with ourselves we all can get distracted at times. Distractions can be anything that takes our eyes off of Jesus. What consumes your mind controls your life. Are you easily distracted? Distractions can come in many different forms. Listening to fake news can be a distraction. Retirement can be a distraction. Cell phones can be a distraction. Sickness can be a distraction. Working on Sunday can be a distraction. You might say those are all good things. How could that distract me? Because it's where you put your focus. Too much time on that can take you from spending time with God. Think about this, we are free to share the gospel any where right? But do we? Maybe we don't share because we are distracted with every day noises. How can we hear God's still small voice if we are distracted? 1 Kings 19:11-12 The Lord said, "Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by." Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.
Don't get confused, there is only one true God and His name is Jesus. We live in a world with many so-called gods—the identity of the one true God matters. There will always be different religions and different God's that people will worship. But there is only one true God. Matt 16:13-16 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is? They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets. "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
Jesus is the son of the true living God. Who do you say Jesus is? He is the son of God, He is omnipresent in our every day life.
Don't miss this Sunday message 8/22/21- There is only one true God.
This Sunday's message is: Do you really have the victory in Jesus or have you fallen into a trap? 1 John 5:4-5 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God
Even through we have the victory we don't want to take advantage of the time that we have left. You have heard the saying there's not enough time in a day; so get busy. God is giving us plenty of time to change the way we think and act. How much time do we really need to get it right before Jesus returns for us? Those who fail to learn from history, Are doomed to repeat it. Heb 9:27 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.
